Manage Columns to Customize your Repository

Personalize your repository's columns with SpotDraft's custom dashboard. Choose which columns to show or hide for enhanced visibility and seamless user experience.

SpotDraft's column view can be personalized to fit your specific needs. Add or remove columns to create a custom dashboard that shows only the information you need. This personalized dashboard will only be visible to you and won't affect other users.

Follow these steps to customize your columns:

Step 1: Click on the 'III' icon at the end of the column names in the grid view, which stands for 'Manage Columns.'

Step 2: Select the columns you want to display or hide by using the '+' or '-' next to each column name. You can also include key pointers as a column for constant metadata visibility.

Step 3: Once you've made your selection, your view will be updated with the chosen columns.

  1. Select the columns to show or hide.
  1. Your unique view is updated with the chosen columns. Other users cannot see your custom view.

2. What is the purpose of views?

Views in SpotDraft are a way for users to save and organize their custom filters. This means that users don't have to repeatedly add filters and recreate their custom view every time they log in to SpotDraft. Once a view is created, it is saved and can be easily accessed by the user from the main grid.

Each user's views are personal and not visible to others, providing flexibility. Users can create unlimited views to match various needs or tasks.
